About Our Bassets

Misty Rose "Rosie" Day, our red and white female, was born here at Ernie's Bayou Bassets on September the 9th 2003. She's had three litters. She is the pup of Happy Princess Sue and Sir Thomas Day. Sadie Rose Clyde and Princess Freida Clyde are tri-color sisters, born January 23rd 2006 to Rosie and Angus Clyde Bourgeious, a tri-color who lives in Baton Rouge. All of our Bassets are AKC registered and we have pedigrees on file if you are interested in more information. At the moment Rosie is our only dam but we expect to start breeding Freida and Sadie next year on an alternating basis.
